I haven’t been keeping up with the blog recently. I had a huge project happening at work that was due last Wednesday. And it was one of those things where I couldn’t get out of work mode, even when I was asleep. But that’s over now so I can get back to using the creative side of my brain instead of the analytical part. I did manage to keep with Project Life and today I’m going to share Week 12:
Week 12 was a busy one and the highlights were: A getting his driver’s license; the end of the hockey season with a loss in the fifth game of the semi-finals for A’s DMHL team, the Misdemeanours; L has rehearsals every day for Caberet; Saturday night was the Dinner Performance of “Oh, What a Night!” and B and I had a blast; I did some scrapbooking and included photos of some of the layouts. Here’s a closer look at the left hand side:
Lots of journalling here including the weekly recap and a news item from the DMHL website about the final playoff game. Here’s a look at the right hand page:
This page has lots of photos from the show, the tickets and a little journalling to tell the story of how I felt watching L on stage.
Week 13 was jam-packed as well. Here’s a look at the two page layout:
The highlights of the week included: the 2nd Caberet Performance and the Caberet Party, L’s 15th Birthday, treats that arrived in anticipation of our upcoming trip to London and Paris, treats for L’s party, a winter storm to end the month!

This week I added a lot of stickers and stamps to the photos to tell the story. I included the tickets from the Dessert Auction Performance of the Caberet that Andrew and I attended. Here’s a look at the right hand page:
Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend and had a big feed of fish and chips for Good Friday!
